I lost my little book, and I need to change my answering machine message but I don't know how

I don't need to change my voice mail, just my answering machine message like when people call my phone, and I can't answer it

You mean your voice mail? If you can check your voice mail then you can change it. All cellular phones have a menu spoken to you by recording. If all else fails though, look on the phone and see what the model number is (you may have to look at or remove the battery and look on the inside) and then google the phone's name and model number "AND instruction manual." That should send you to an online version of your manual book.

call your cell phone, and when you get your voice mail press * and then your password. Then you will get a list of options... etc.

if you access your voicemail there should be an option to change your personal options. That's how mine works
