Easy one...nuthin! Give her a gift card and tell her it's her own credit card, then arrange a girls day out for you and her (or whoever), let her pick out her own gift and let her use the card. She'll be so proud of herself and feel so grown up!

I was going to suggest iritadragon's idea. Kids do not have enough things to do these days to use the imagination. For $20, the kit can include from a $1 store: crayons, colored paper, colored pencils, sidewalk chalk, markers, scotch tape(the grandchildren are always stealing my tape), tray of paints, gift bag, scissors, play doh, pencils, erasers, cotton balls, coloring books, chenille wire/pipe cleaners and you still have money to buy some other creative stuff there too and the tax. Then the best part would be to spend some of your time doing some of the fun things with her.
A fun thing to make a 6 year old is a Caterpillar from a cardboard egg carton. Cut the carton down the middle. Insert a chenille wire in the end for antennae. Curl the wire at the ends. Let her use markers to put on eyes and a smile. Let her color with markers. You could also use chenille wire to make legs if you wish. Have fun.

The dinner or present card for $100 is staggering for a 12-twelve months previous woman. I were given a $seventy 5 present card from Visa for Christmas and that i loved it!!! (i'm 13) yet another solid theory is a purity ring! i truly choose one for my birthday, and and that i'm on the fringe of her age, and that i'm guessing you should love for her to stay a virgin till after she's married. :)

Get her one of those "Grow Your Own Plant" kits. Or you could just buy some seeds, a pot and some dirt. I got some basil, tomato, and watermelon seeds and planted them with a 6 year old girl I babysit. She loves checking on the plants everyday to see the new growth.
