Yep - you can remove them - either with Brasso or with automobile polish. Put a tiny amount on (avoiding getting it on the wheel) and gently run in horizontal lines across the screen. Alow it to dry off and then wipe of in the same direction. Rotate the ipod 90degrees and repeat.
After maybe 15 minutes of doing this you will see a huge improvement in your screen. Seep scratches will also disapear if you do this but it will take long. I was sceptical about this = but it really works - mine has gone from nasty to as good as new!

Hey....I had scratches on my iPod also. One of my friends told me to use this product called Oops. It can be bought at your local Wal-Mart or Krogers. The spray can says that it removes sticky stuff from things. All you do is spray some of the stuff on a soft rag. All you need is a little. Rub it on the scratch softly. Dont rub too hard. This should remove the scratch from you iPod. This can also remove scratches and stuff from your cell phone and also CD's! I hope this helps!

1.score scratches on your eyeball identical to that of the scratches on your ipod, you'll never know they where there in the first place.
or your ipod!!
2. call 911 for your nearest accident and emergancy.

Try toothpaste its mildly abrasive and will remove small scratches. depends how bad they are if there too deep your stuffed.
live with them they set your pod apart from the rest.
the metal back on mine got really scratched up so i uses scotchbright (abrasive scourer on it its now has a great brushed metal appearence)

I think that you can take an ipod to radioshack and they'll refurbish it for you. It's something to look into anyway.
