isn't it?

Yes, it is...that comes along with being on top...not knowing who to trust...being surrounded by people that are only interested in the money...of course everything changes...it is easy to get caught up with the social status of high society...

Be yourself...you worked hard to get to the top...make sure you don't forget how you got there...sometimes when you get to a place where you want to be...you think that once you get there it will be great...but than you realize that something is missing...and that is no one to share it with...being at the top is something you choose...being lonely at the time...is the scarifice you pay...we all have to scarifice something in our lives just to get where we want to be...I of course don't believe that being on the top has to be lonely...for you are still a human with needs...money and title...doesn't make you human...what makes you human...is your needs, your emotions, your thoughts...money can't buy whats inside...(unless you allow yourself to be brought)...finding good friends are hard to find...but not impossible...

My opinion...I don't know if I would trade my current status...meaning the close friends I have (which I can count in one hand...but it is all I need)...to be surrounded by people that I don't trust...

Don't you have good friends...family (I mean immediate family)...not the third cousins or the aunts, uncles...that all of a sudden are showing up (where were you before I got to the top)...

You can most certainly find comfort in Yahoo Answers...

I extended my friendship...support (even though we don't know each other)...

Good luck & take care!

Yeah it can be. When you're at the top their can be alot of jealousy and trust issues. However I have 3 German shepherds which I know I can trust implicitly.

I wouldn't know, I prefer to be the power-behind-the-throne.

That's what they say. Of course, most people who say that haven't ever actually been there.
