The answer is "t-i-m-e"!! You can't 'press the delete key' and remove it. You did the damage, live with the consequence (hey, like being punished right) but there are solutions to lessen the problem.

Put on a quality after sun conditioning cream at regular intervals (in other words, keep the area moist with this cream). That skin burned is 'toast' anyway and hopefully you only got the top layer burned. Conditioning will help the next layer remain healthy as it moves into the top position. That's the evolution of a human's 'skin'!!

As for the burn, I'm a male caucasian who's lucky. I will burn (I do abuse myself in this way) but within 24 hours it turns into a super (people tell me) tan. I personally do not use any conditioners, stupid I know and time will likely catch up with me in that regard -- that is a guarantee of life.

Skin cancer is becoming one of the most feared cancers and we all should take heed and protect ourselves. If you are going out there in the hot Sun slap on the highest factor protector possible and follow the Health Department's recommendation for exposure. The world wasn't built in a day; neither should your tan!!

There's nothing you can do to get rid of sunburn. All you can do is take care of the skin you've already damaged until it sloughs off. Moisturizing is the answer, sunblock is the preventative.

You can't. Your skin needs to heal on it's own. If you are in pain, take an anti-histamine. The pain of a sunburn is caused by a histamine reaction, not the burn itself. Take Benedryl or something.

You cant get rid of it...But it can heal.
If it hurts try using aloe vera to soothe the burning.
When taking a shower try to have it be on the cooler side. Hot water burns bad.
Eventually it will start to peel..Thats gross but it has to happen.

My sister gets sunburned pretty fast. She works in cosmetics and she puts plain yoghurt on her skin. Sounds gross, i know but it's the best cure; cooling, cheap and most fast-working.

Use a lotion to keep the skin moist. Other than that only time will do it.
