Anyone that lives in New York - do you disagree with the release of the World Trade Center movie? Do you feel it's okay to release it at a later date?
Just NOT 5 years from the time it happened.

If you don't live in New York - what is your point of view on this situation? I hear a lot of people that DON'T live in NY want to see this...
But, I as a New Yorker - I would have to speak for most of us and say....It's way too early for this.

Let me know your feedback!

are any of you that answered just now from New York?

You seem to be taking this pretty lightly...so I'd have to say that you're not.

The fact that the idiot that is creating this movie....won't remove the scene where a specific person is killed, makes me sick. I knew a lot of people in the city that day, as did A LOT of people I know. Every New Yorker lost someone special that day...and it isn't fair to make us re-live that. And I'm not saying we HAVE to see the movie...but we DO HAVE to see the commercials and previews....and it makes me sick to my stomach each time I do.

i don't think it should ever be released. why should someone make a ton of money off such a great tragedy? i don't think that day is something most americans are ever going to forget. people always say they can remember exactly where they were when they found out kennedy was shot. this is going to be the same for most people old enough to remember.

if it was as news story or something like that it might be ok. i know the year after they had a special on tv, but to make a movie just seems to be in bad taste. the images are going to be in our minds forever.

i don't live in new york but i know a girl that her father was supposed to be in the towers that day. his best friend was killed a few days earlier and he was off work because he was going to the funeral. he never thought the death of his best friend would turn out to be a blessing in disguise. everyone is going to have a story from that day. we don't need the movie to remember it.

I don't live in New York but I feel that it was a tradgey and it should be left in memories and history. Honestly why stir up the emotions now. It still hurts those who were effect by it and now they're being insensitive and trying to make money off the situation. Honestly it pisses me off to think hollywood is doing this again. Is nothing off limits? What's next the Princess Diana story with special effects on how she died?

Give it a break!

I would vote to release it.. It will be false in many places anyway.. It will be a movie in movie fashion... I hope they show where the families of the victims are given $5 or so million and how they lavishly spend it and how the family of a soldier killed in Iraq gets only $20,000. I am ery very very happy to say that I did not donate ONE PENNY to those sluts after the World Trade Center destruction.. What a farce !!!

I have been to ground zero and also i have been to shanksville, PA where United 93 went down.....Also i have went to see United 93 and I am going to go view World Trade Center....I Think EVERY AMERICAN PERSON should have to see these films...The acts of terroism that happened to us on 9-11 was something we should have saw coming to us and They(Government) Never got us prepared...watch some of the documnetaries they were warned about attacks days before they happened and they still choose to do nothing about it.... so anyway in my point of mind and from what i c...many people have already forgotten about what happened...let me rephrase that not many people want to remember what happnend...BUT WE DO...so many people lost their lives FOR US THAT DAY.......WE NEED TO NEVER FORGET and therefore comes my statement to the movies.....

These movies are not done out of ways for movie producers, directors, and actors to make a heap load of money....they are done to show the heroism of what people went through that day.... you can cry and you can think this letter is stupid...but YOU OR NO ONE WILL HAVE EVER KNOWN WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! United 93 was such a heroic powerful film......15 minutes after the movie ended people finally started to get up out of their seats to leave...... no one wanted to move.....so if u think that that it is 2 early to release these things then think again........ THINK OF YOURSELF AS AN AMERICAN AND PAY TRIBUTE TO THE ONES WHO HAVE DIED FOR US THAT DAY!!!!! I HAVE NEVER FORGOT THEM AND I NEVER WILL!!! HOPEFULLY YOU ALL START OR KEEP REMEMBERING THEM FOR WHAT THEY DID!!!!!!!
And I live in Pennsylvania....2 hours away from shanksville where United 93 went down and about 3 and half from new york city

A year ago, the movie industry had spoke of at least 3 movies in the works--it was bound to happen.

I provide it a B-. that is an extreme action picture and the particular consequences are huge, loud, and extremely lifelike. they don't provide you sufficient time to get emotionally in contact with the characters. The intensity out weighs the human element regrettably. pass see it only a similar. also, pass to Yahoo! video clips and observe each and every of the comments. own ones and Critics. wish this helps.

I do not live in New Yrok but I have an aunt and uncle and several cousins that live there are they were directly effected by the tragedy as by cousin's fiance died in the WTC. My cousin said as long as it was a tribute to the rescue efforts and survivor's that she would welcome it.

I think if it's a well done tribute to the people who survived that day then it's ok.

i think we ALL felt attacked on 9/11 and we need to be reminded of our ability to cope with and transcend violence from people who hate what we are.
