Did you follow your own dreams or did you do what was expected of you? And what do you do now if you don't mind me asking?
I followed my dreams and am a self-employed mum now.

I tried to follow my dreams, but my dreams weren't really that well defined. I love working with technology and I majored in Computer Science. Made it fine through the first year and a half then Data Scrutures chewed me up and spit me out. At that time, I didn't know what to do so now I'm in the middle of goign for a business degree. When all else fails, I have to go for something I can support a family with.

LOL. No. Life and responsibility interrupted my dreams. I strived to do the correct things morally, and failed miserably at some of them. Learning that it is okay to be human, to benefit from the mistakes, and go forward is a lesson I appreciate. We have to do the expected most times or suffer chaos, I believe.
I now am a craftswoman. I am disabled, though mobile to some extent. My sons are grown and into their own things, so now I have the time to write, read, craft, etc.

I would have followed my dreams, but a lot of what I dream about don't exist yet or hasn't existed for millions of years, so I'm afraid I'm going to answer no on this one.

I followed my own dreams. I used to listen to other people, but eventually I grew tired of it and decided that enough was enough. I do whatever makes me happy. As long as I don't harm others.. :)

We normally do what V think is right, & some times what's expected of us + when V R confused or in trouble, V seek help too to do something on our behalf by others. Right now, M answering your Question. You'R welcomed.

I didn't follow my dreams, but I didn't necessarily do what was expected of me, either. I just sort of let things...happen.
Today, I do what I expect of myself...I don't care what others think about it.
