My stand is that there is a legally defined process for people to immigrate to this country.

By definition, illegal aliens are here illegally, and should be treated as the criminals they are. This includes Cubans.
- when they are caught, they should be immediately deported; they should lose everything that they have acquired while they were here illegally, just like they take cars and homes of drug dealers.

As criminals, anyone who assists them are criminals, and they should be treated as such. If you take away the incentive to hire illegals they won't come. If they can't support themselves they won't stay.
- companies should lose their licenses to do business if they are caught hiring illegals; companies should pay a fine of 1000/day/infraction with no limit.
- individuals that hire them should pay 100/day/infraction with no limit, for the same reason.

We should build an impenatrable wall at the border and have better controls of the posrt of entry.

They should not ever get any services in this country for free, regardless of how many children they have if they are not citizens.

A child born in this country should not be a citizen unless one of his parents is a US citizen.

Illegal immigrants produce 3-4 times more than what they spend, so that's not a problem. They are just an economic phenomenon, they are here because the economy needs them, otherwise the bussinesses that hire them would flee to other countries and the taxes they contribute to the state they are in, would go somewhere else.

I don't have a stand, there are bad things and good things about immigration. America continues to be an immigrant country since it was founded and will always be, and that is what makes this country so great, it keeps growing, moving and innovating (which does not happen in Europe, therefore their stagnant economies and horrible unenployment rates).

They are just an economic phenomenon and as long as the economy needs them, they'll keep on coming. Their lifes in their countries are so miserable, but there's no way they'll come here legally, their visas are constantly denied at the American Embassy, so they end up giving up and try to come here illegally.

I think that if they tried they could apply for citizenship, if not they can leave. I know the country was founded by immigrants (and the Native Americans who were already here), but please. They put a stop to just anyone coming in for a reason. You don't see any other country just letting someone come in and make themselves at home by sneaking across the border or something do you? If they do, then why can't they take some of our illegals? Do it the correct way or go home!

If they are here illegal then they are already comitting a crime. What part of illegal do they not get? How can you come into my house without my permission and tell me how to live who I can let in and all that.

I have no problems with immigrants in general just the ones who come here illegal.

It's wrong and it's wrong for many reasons.
It's wrong because illegals make those wishing to come here legally wait longer.
It's wrong because the countries that the illegals come from need to work to get their economies stronger so that suitable employment can be found thereand they shouldn't have to feel as if their only hope is to come here illegally.
It's wrong because they have to risk death to come here.
It's wrong because once here they have to always stay on the edge of society which makes them more at risk for crimes.
It's wrong because when they're employed they don't have the protection of legal employees and not just the wages that they're forced to work under.
It's wrong because they do take decent jobs away from people here that would do that work also.

I don't believe in "rights" for illegal immigrants. If you want to live here, we welcome it.....but you should be willing to take all the legal steps in order to do it.....and pay taxes like everyone else! I for one am sick of my hard-earned tax dollars paying for healthcare and other programs for people who are here illegally. Aren't you?
