My personal opinion will be a tie between the Frings goal in the opening match and the Joe Cole goal against Sweden. But FIFA picked the Maxi Rodrigues {Argentina} goal against Mexico in the round of 16 match in extra time.

for me the best ones were the one zidane scored against spain which was spectacular and the two long range shots from bastian schweinsteiger of germany against portugal. they were awesome. oh and the goal scored by pauleta against angola i think that figo assisted. that one was great too. oh and the goals of lukas podolski against ukraine? or sweden? i cant remember. klose did two assists for podolski, very good team work. there are so much excellent goals out there but these are the ones that stood out to me.
fifa ranked the one from maxi rodriguez as the best goal, though.
