the real C.S.I must really have a good laugh, and why is it that in the miami one they seem to led the investigation and not the police

I have to keep myself from asking that everytime I watch.... except it really bugs me that the female CSIs in Miami and NY have really long hair that magically never sheds or drags across the icky dead bodies or crime scenes that they're always bending over in their tight white (!) clothing and high heels. That to me really strains credibility--even more so than the fact that they get to do all the interrogation, order the police around and make the arrests.
Oh, and lets not forget how the CSIs explain all the forensic evidence that they have so far to suspects who are called into questioning (and haven't been arrested yet) As we know from Law and Order-land, you never give away more info than you have to when you're building a case!

Because it is a number one show and they (Companies) supply the clothes for free so there clothes will be seen on tv. Product placement my dear.
