Can you teach them fetch? And, if so, which is better--a stick or a ball?

(I'm really getting a bargain. This one is only two-years-old and hardly eats more than 100 pounds of beef or mutton a day, and has the cutest feather markings.)

Oh, and how you keep them from sleeping so much? This one I'm looking at buying sleeps about 12 hours a day. Real bummer, you know?

I really have to advise against this.

I have one and, believe me, it doesn't take long for the thrill to chill.

It really was fun at first. So many happy memories. His happy snorts when I'd tickle him under the chin. Those embarassing moments when he'd knock over a tree or crush a car wagging his tail at the joy of seeing me come home after a long day. Then as time passed, the little "accidents" began to get suspicious. Did the ladder really just slip out from under me when I was tickling him? Why is it always my car getting banged with his fat old stupid tail? The first three or four times it was funny, of course, but now I can't even get financing to buy a new one.

I thought I could get by on 100 lbs of beef, too, but that shot up exponentially after all the neighborhood pets were eaten up. Come to think of it, I haven't seen the neighbors for quite a while either. Let's count that as a plus. I never did like those ***********s. Anyway, now my credit card is maxed out and the damn thing will probably starve to death soon. My only hope is that he can hang on long enough for the elementary school down the block to open up again for the fall term. I doubt if those little snack packs will get him through the winter. I just wish it was a high school so I could be more sure there's tonnage to spare.

And he's making me nervous lately. The way he looks at me. Kind of like a dog looks at a pork chop. But I know he loves me. I do. He's just a rascal. I'm just getting paranoid. Here he comes now. I hope he doesn't want his chin tickled. I don't have the cast off from the last time yet. Oh wait, what is that noise? Is that his tummy rumbling? Hey, what's he doing.....OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD...HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALP...9-1-1....OH MY GOD OH 9-1-1 MY OH MYOHMY 9-1-1 GOOOOO
OOOOOOO
OOD...haaaaaaallPPPpppp.

Well they are mostly nocturnal except to hunt, so train it to look to hunt for its food. Keep hiding it in diferent places. Then be ready for a long sleep after it eats. But since it is only two years old, it is still growing so when it starts looking for a male or female buddy in about 4 years, be ready for some long days as it will try to find the female, unless you think you can afford another one. There are other concerns also like waste disposal. I suggest you bundle it up, dry it and sell it as fertilizer. There is a big market for it. Also at two, it should still have its baby teeth so when those fall out, save them and sell them. People love them as collectors items. If your T-Rex gets red or blue feathers, keep those as well as those make fantastic quill pens and people want those also. Try to teach it paint like an elephant does, you can sell the paintings too. Just trying to off set the expenses. As for teaching them to fetch, no they normally don't do that too well as they tend to tear and eat anything they track down. Sorry about that. I recommend getting a Boarder Collie or some other type of herding dog to play with the T-Rex. They get along with them really well. Also, any names picked out. I mean that Rex is so obvious, and if it is a female, doesn't really fit.
Have fun. They can be really great pets.

I recommend a schoolyard. The children have a tendecy to run more slowly than most of their prey, and he'd get a great deal of exercise chasing the tots. It might be fun! Good luck!

hmmmm....well, my T-Rex likes to play with a frisbee, and he is also entertained with cat toys. especially the furry thing that dangles on a piece of string. as for the sleeping thing, don't wake it up, whatever you do, because you could pay the ultimate price if you wake him up. a branch is good for use in playing fetch, because it is large and easy to see with those tiny little eyes. good luck with your new pet, lol!

You can stimulate then by throwing either your boss out to be fetched or yourself. Preferably yourself however.
