I feel bad for that person,,because I know he will pay//somehow// it will come back to "haunt" them//and it will cost them more than it did for us to replace what was stolen:

Yes, someone broke into my house and took a lot of stuff. I felt very violated. On that first day, I thought I was having a breakdown.
But then I took a step back and looked at it objectively. They stole an old microwave that needed to be cleaned. They took a small tv that was black & white, they took a vcr that didn't rewind the tapes.
The one thing that really ticked me off was that they took my son's Nintendo set. My son was about 8 or 9 at the time and that was his world. But even that has a good point. He got a new set out of the situation.

Yes. The woman who broke in took a special piece of jewelry that I had worked YEARS to earn and had gotten when I was chosen for a state office in an organization I was involved with in my youth- it was called the Grand Cross of Color. No I never got it back. I was angry and still am! No I haven't wished bad things on that person because I believe what goes around comes around. Her karma will catch up to her in a BIG way. I don't know when, but it will. I know she stole it thinking she could pawn it and get money for it. Pawn shops wouldn't pay squat for it though. So the joke is on her! She stole it and other things to buy drugs, so it's quite possible that she has overdosed by now. I know it was a she- my brother saw her as she was running away!

My new home was burglarized a week before I was able to get my letter of occupancy and move in. The thieves stole everything: all the appliances, curtains off the windows...even the ceiling fans. Also, while they were at it they kicked in doors, broke windows and punched holes in the walls. I never got any of the things that were stolen back and the police never caught who did it. I wished that the cops would have caught them and thrown them in jail for a long time for burglarizing my home.

Yes, many years ago someone broke into our upstairs apartment. A young couple with 2 children lived downstairs. I believe to this day the couple that lived downstairs broke into our apartment. Nothing was ever done about the burglary, except my husband and I was put in jail. The woman downstairs said I called her a *****. I had 2 small children at that time. The couple went far enough to steal my baby's diapers. I won't go into full details about what all was taken, because it still bothers me.
At that time I wanted to kill the couple. However the couple downstairs, turns on us with a shotgun. This proved their guilt...
Nothing was ever done, however we moved out with what we had left. The landlord charged us for the damage to the apartment.
The moral of the story: It bothered me so bad that I moved out of the state of Ohio. This happened 35 years ago, yet it's still fresh in my mind. How did I feel? I don't mean to be vulgar, but have you ever been raped? This is what it felt like. Strip you of your personal belongings and your baby's belongings.
I feel that someday this couple will pay, maybe not here on earth but they will pay for what they done.

I've had a vehicle stolen. It was broke down but I had another vehicle so I was mad but not without another car. About 2 years later my car broke down, I was a single mother supporting two kids alone and could not afford to fix it. About 2 days later the police called me and they recovered my stolen vehicle. The person who had stolen it fixed it all up like new. I was so happy. They even put a story about it in the newspaper.

Yes some one stole gold jewelry from my home among other things. And about a month ago, my boyfriend's car was stolen right in fornt of his house. You think that things like that can't happen to you, but the ugly truth is that they can. :(

Years ago while we were gone someone broke in and took my sons Nintindo and stereo out of his room, that was all. We knew it had to be someone who knew him or knew his friends because thats all they took. We called the police and made a report but could never prove who it was so nothing came of it. I didn't wish bad things on them but I felt hurt that one of his friends would have done that because I always welcomed them in our home.

yea I was robbed and I was pissed cause stuff was stolen out of my car and it was very personal to think that some strange person was in my space messing with my stuff. I never got my stuff back but the guy went to jail and that was enough for me.

No I have never been robbed. If I did, I would be freaked out especially if they robbed my home while I was there.
