Same question, different time...
I've been recently reading certain articles about acne, in particular for the cystic kind, and it's come up in some that Zinc and Vitamin A can help really well. Is this true? And if so, how are you supposed to take the "doses" or whatever the intake is... I really don't know and so I appreciate the answers, thanks a lot!

Chelated zinc and skip the Vitamin A, try to find a natural source to get A, like carrots or sweet potatoes. If you still just want the pills....Some vitamins are sold as natural A just ask first. It should read 2,000 IUs of Vitamin A as beta carotene.

edit* Sorry I fogot the doses! Zinc 25 mg (watch this one, doses close to 100 mg can supress the immune system) and Vitamin A 2,000 IU as beta carotene. Take with food once a day with plenty of water.

It takes a month to truely notice a huge difference. But it is worth it. Good luck!

Eating healthy in general is a good way to get great looking skin. Some vitamins are really good for the skin. Try eating foods that are good sources of vitamins A, D, and E. Omega 3,6,9 (essential fatty acids found in fish oils like salmon) are good for the skin too.

Vitamin E is supposed to be improve your skin, making it healthier. Also your body converts Vitamin A to Betacarotine, which is also a skin enhancer. Carrots are an excellent source of Vit A/Betacarotine also - sweet potatoes. Hope this helps. ;)... if you take vitamins the bottle should recommend the dosage.
