My friend told me that when my uncle, who lives with us, greeted her with a kiss on the mouth. She's visiting for a week. She says she feels uncomfortable being left alone in my house now. I told her that if that's the case then she should tell, but I think she's afraid. And if either one of us told, what should my mom do?

Tell you mother immediately before he takes a second step.
She should be afraid. And you should be careful also.
Tell your mother.

This is not good! I would tell your mom it could go either way she might not believe he would do something like that . Ask your mom if YOU were at a friends house and her uncle kissed you and it made you uncomfortable what should you do.. wait for her answer then come clean with the truth.

tell your mother that u wnt her to talk to your uncle and explain to him to that she's a guest and you don't want to make her feel uncomfortable. if she has a nice talk with him w/ no hard feelings then all should be good for the rest of her visit, who knows maybe he doesn't mean to make her feel uncomfortable. if not then just try and keep her out of the house while u guys aren't there. since she is a guest try and accomadate her so that when she leaves she won't say or think "well i'm never going over there again"

Yes, tell your Mom immediately. Your Mom needs to address this with your uncle and tell him to stop. If he went further than kissing, touching on shoulder; sitting too close, she had a good reason to feel afraid. Your Mom will know what steps to take to protect your friend and you.

Definitely tell your mom. If it was not intentional (kiss on the lips) then he will know not to do it again. But if it was intentional, he will be put on notice and watched by everyone in the family. That type of greeting to totally unacceptable!!!!

I agree, tell your mother before something terrible happens to your friend and you have to feel guilt for the rest of your life.
Also if your uncle did this to one friend, he will do it to another.

First l would let your uncle know that your friend did not like to be greeted like that, and to not do it again. If you keep silent, your uncle may think your friend liked it.

One of you needs to tell your mom and then it's up to her to be the adult and take care of the situation! If all else fails, avoid him like the plague! If your mom doesn't do anything, take it to your dad. SOMEONE needs to do something!
