Maybe they have committed crimes against humanity--but not in this case. Sorry! They're doing what needs to be done. The U.S. should take a page out of their book in Iraq.

I'm an American, and Israel is an ally of our country, however, I don't know if I 'support Zionism' or whether Isreal has committed crimes at this point. I am catching up, since I was on vacation when this all started and I know one of their soldiers was taken. Taking a soldier to me doesn't translate to bombing a city of civilians, because unlike where there is terrorism against civilians, soldiers have put themselves into harms way.
I heard however that H then sent off missiles into an Isreali city, which would give more justification for bombing a city that was headquarters for the group and where the government gave the group legitimate standing and refuge. I am not sure of the details yet, though.
I'll open my mind all over the place. I'd like to see peace over there.

Nobody is innocent. Deir Yassin is a stain on the nation of Israel. One thing leads to another: WWI led to WWII which brought on the holocaust, which the world ignored (six million jews murdered). This led to the Jewish state of Israel. It's pretty hard to lay the blame on one entity. Every fight for Israel is a fight for survival. The first war they lose will be the last. I'd be pretty ruthless in those circumstaces and I bet you would be too.

No rational person is saying that Israel shares no blame or fault in the current situation.
That being said, if we have to choose between (1) a group that admits to being terrorists, that uses suicide bombers, and that launches rockets at civilian targets, versus (2) a democratic country that has only ever attacked other nations in self-defense, and is fighting now only in self-defense -- I'm going to say that the second bears less responsibility.

"Zionism: A Jewish movement that arose in the late 19th century in response to growing anti-Semitism and sought to reestablish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Modern Zionism is concerned with the support and development of the state of Israel." - The Free Dictionary.
Arabs adjacent to Israel have from the beginning engaged in armed violence against it, never letting up. They are not just anti-Israel, they are anti-Semitic. If Israel does not defend itself, they are wiped out; if they do, they are committing crimes against humanity.
Why don't you regard the Arabs as less than innocent victims and martyrs and also quilty of deadly violence? Because you are anti-Semitic, I suspect.

Yes, Israel sometimes kills innocent civilians. It is not perfect.
Israel gives warnings before it attacks, giving civilians a chance to flee.
But Israel's enemies intentionally kill innocent civilians, and give no warnings.
So which of the two is more just?

Zionism doesn't allow for criticism of Israel. Blind allegiance to infallible Israel is dogmatic and unquestioned, no matter how much proof there is.

The Zionist regime itself (Israel) is by far the biggest terrorist organization in history. True Jews who truly believe in and follow the Torah do not support Israel and what they are doing.

War is a crime. No country including the US and what ever country you happen to live in has not perpetrated war crimes during it's conflicts. Solution - stop having wars.

If your terrorist buddies would quit hiding behind women and children and fight like a man instead of sniveling cowards, then civilian casualties would be at a minimum.
