I dont think he will, injuries are going to keep him from doing it.If that doesnt do it ,income tax envasion will. I hope he doesnt anyway, he doesnt deserve it after cheating, and anyone who says he didnt do steriods is nuts, you dont get THAT big in one off season

No, he won't. If age & the natural physical breakdown that accompanies steroid withdrawal doesn't get him, the law will. Although the old Grand Jury expired, they are reconvening a new one, and they just subpoenaed his medical records and some new witnesses about the tax evasion. The feds really seem to want him badly, so they'll probably get him. I don't want to see such a controversial figure catch up to Hank Aaron, either. When, or if, someone else does, I want it to be someone people can look up to, not a whiny cheater.

Barry Bonds has already said he plans to play next year. Even if goes on trial for tax evasion, they cannot suspend him. Unless he did something that interfears with baseball, he will not be suspended. I expect him to play until he breaks the record, and reitre right after he does break it. I would give anything to see hanks record stand, he was a better ball player, true to the game, and a better man. Barry deserves no credit because he is a cheater. This man is full of greed, and as sad as I am to say this, he will break the record if he has to play to 60 years old. He cares about no one but himself, and thats the facts.

I hope he does and you guys disgust me. I hope if I had a son he doesn't grow up to be a pathetic jealous freak like a lot of guys are. Barry Bonds is over 40 years old. He is not that big. Do you see a lot of skinny 40 year old guys. Steroids doesn't increase your batting accuracy anyway . Mark McGuire , what about that guy ? He was huge but nobody demanded he be tested or have an asterisk next to his name. Jose Conseco , what about him ? What about Roger Clemens ? He is over 40 and still playing good ball . Is anyone questioning him or other pitchers. You jealous little silly boys. Get off your gay fascination with Blacks guys and athletics. It's disgusting.

I expect Bonds will retire after this season without breaking the record. If he does play next year then he will break Aaron's home run record.

As to the Tax Evasion charges, I don't think they have any real evidence YET, because it is very easy to indict someone, and the goverment has been trying for three years to indict Bonds and has failed.

Since the time for indictment for the tax thing just expired, I don't think he's too worried about that anymore. But his knees, which by now probably aren't really knees anymore but some mixture of plastic, metal, and steroids, won't be able to support his body and especially his ever-growing head long enough to break the record.

I say yes based on his statement the other day that he wants to play at least one more year. He certainly won't do it this year but if he stays one more year he should do it. He will prob sign with the Giants for one more year as he will be a FA after this season and I can't see the Giants not resigning him after he played so long there. The Fans love him there. He is part of a legacy with the Giants
