yeah...its sooo Raspy...i have to change the channel every time ....and I LOVE MSNBC.... she just makes me wanna slam my hands over my ears and cry!

Rita sounds like a dude...and it's funny cuz there was this guy who sounds like a chick and they were all like...”we should switch voices”...and I'm like yeah, that WOULD help, cuz it's really distracting to listen to an alto/ baritone voice coming out of a woman!

I can't stand her voice, but I also can't stand what she says either. Both seem to have gotten worse since she left Fox News. She's supposed to be reporting on the news, but she spends more time and energy promoting herself...or at least she used to before I started changing channels every time I saw her!
At least Greta Van Susteren tries to give more substance (although going on an on about Aruba....come ON!) and sometimes that makes it worth getting past *her* voice.
Both should spend more on voice coaching and less on plastic surgery.

i thought i was the only person who thought that there was something odd about her voice i love listening to her but it sounds like she has a sore throat.i wonder if anyone ever asked her about her voice while they were on the air.

I agree. I always think she is sick or needs to clear her throat. I also don't like listening to her. And her inflection on certain words is also grating to my ears.
