Because you need to understand, first as was already mentioned, what house is it in, what does it aspect? Anybody with a NN in cancer is destined to work with the public. That's basic astrology. That's where they will find happiness. They will also experience gifts from women, women will be to their benefit or detriment according to the aspects, as will your relationship with MAMMA!, women in general,and grandparents. North node in Capricorn is more for business, government, corporations, gifts from parents. Depends where the ruler is, the aspects, and house it's in. But just generally, cancer is ruled by moon, I work for, or I am happiest when in the public's eye. Capricorn says, I am shy. I have been hurt. I work best in an impersonal business situation. as a cancer you are more likely to know numbers, but capi can make awesome carrer partners, they can teach eachother alot of things if the cancer is not too sensitive to the constructive critisim, i know that i dont take it all that well and i am a cancer.... touchy touchy lol;),
