Well Atlanta is one of the most well-mixed cities in the U.S. Its about a 50/50 mix between African American and Caucasian. So its diverse. Really nice weather on the whole. Although it can get somewhat hot during the summer. Good public transit system, which I find helpful since it cuts costs that would normally go towards a form of motor transport.
"However, once you get here, we think there is a good chance you might stay. When it comes to career options, we're the headquarters of corporate giants such as Coca-Cola, Southern Companies, Delta Airlines, UPS, CNN, Georgia-Pacific, Russell Construction and more. Atlanta is also a mecca for America's young entrepreneurs with many hot, young companies in technology, communications and design. Not only a center for commerce, Atlanta is also home to the Martin Luther King, Jr., Center for Nonviolent Social Changes, the Carter Presidential Center, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and many other leading research, medical and educational institutions. It's easy to see why so many CAU graduates stay in Atlanta to start their careers."

Southern hospitality.
Also the "Best Strip bars and the best Churches." A strong reggae, ska, R & B, Latin, and Jazz music scene.
Plus plenty of local sports teams. Braves, Falcons, etc.
