Wash you hands with soap and water first. Clean piercing with a q-tip and hydrogen peroxide. I wouldn't use rubbing achlohol, that will burn. Take the ear rings out and let them sit in a dish of hydrogen peroxide while cleaning the piercing. Neosoprin is a good suggestion but, only leave your ear rings out while cleaning and put them right back in or your holes or they will close up quickly. I'm allergic to all metal except 14 K gold, sterling silver, or surgical steel. When I wear other materials they get pretty infected as well. Another suggestion is to go back to the place where you got the piercing and ask for advice.

I would put some neosporin on your ears where they hurt. It should help heal them. i also would use some alcohol to clean them better. I even take the earring out of your ear and dip it into the neosporin and then put it back into your ear it should clear up in a few days. I had the same problem with my earring.

alcohol - also, if you go somewhere like Claire's in the mall where they do ear piercings, they usually give you some kind of solution to use to clean your ears.
you just have to make sure to use it often. take the earring out a couple of times a day and clean your ears AND the earrings themselves with the alcohol or solution. good luck!

get the cleaner from Claire's take a Q-tip and wet the Q-tip with cleaner and also clean your ears with the cleaner, then put the earring in.If it's not going in then force it in because it's not good to re pierce it right away because it will pop the scar tissue(the round ball in your ear) and that is not good

The stuff they give you should have worked just fine. You must be touching them, playing with them or not cleaning them enough.
And if you are sure you are not doing any of the above then possibly you need to get them done somewhere else, or with a different metal.

Peroxide...it wont burn like alcohol but it will help...clean your earrings with it and take a Q-tip and rub it on the holes on your ear.

Don't use rubbing alchol it will make them worse. You will want to use a peroxide solution and change your earrings to some that are solid sterling silver, you might be allergic to the metal.

Use "Sea Breeze", that will clean them and especially keep them open.
Peroxide will try to heal them (close them) and alcohol will do the same.
Sea Breeze opens your pores while it cleans and disinfects them. It does the exact samething for new piercings.

I concur with the Seabreeze answer. You should also use some Neosporin or other topical antibiotic ointment. And keep your hands off of them!
