I alway wondered how did the top ones get more then 1000 best answers or how did the get more the 8000 answers?
Do they answer every stupid question, and then have a team of people who are voting their questions?
I mean there are sensible questions, and man could thing that the top answerers are the smartest people who will give you a satisfying answer, but they are not the smartes only the one with the most point , and most anwered questions.
Shoud there be some kind of better way to find who is the smartest and most satisfying answerer per themetic field so you could ask him personaly or should he have a special column here in his field of answering.
And I know that this could be a spam issue, bu if people would like to know in questions they answered which answer was the best
and that question is resolved, some short message sayin the question and the answer, or some other way of tracking status, except going back to it..

The most annoying thing to me is when people say first correct answer gets the points, trust me some i answered 3-4 minutes before others and I know they are right because I am a trivia nut and afterwards I check and they are right and I still don;t get the points so they are liars!!And yes it bothers me when people do not pick a winner, look at my profile,I always pick a winner as soon as allowed.

YES it bothers me. Why waste your own, and other people's time asking a question at all unless you intend to read the answers. The best answer doesn't have to be correct, or comfortable.
The only times I have posted a question and not selected a best answer were because I finally had to find the answer myself (oh hardship! actually it was a rather abstruse technical issue) or because the answers were so disappointingly missing my point. If I get answers which don't meet my criteria, unless they are just abusive, I will rate them less highly, but still award a best answer.

YES!!! I know how that feels...I've answered many questions, some better than others, but when I feel that my answer far surpasses other's, it pisses me off. If the asker asked the question, then he/she should pick a winner...

I guess the majority of people are eager to find out answers to their questions and don't really care which is the best.
It bothers me a lot. Partially because I know my answers are the bestest! ;-)

Why yes it does. I also hate when they don't put all the information and everyone asks them for more info so you can help and then they don't add any details. You would think if you needed help you would be reading the answeres.

I think so many of the questions asked are merely asking for fun....the askers don't seem to really expect an answer, they just want to post one.

It's okay, I still get points when you all, the majority, pick the best answer for them. I think I get most of my points that way.
