stop crying over your problem.its the time to make concrete decision.,find out what qualities of ur mother attracts him.try to be more attractive and appealing..add spice to ur love life rather then the daily chores.give him suprises and do some possible things to make him happy
secondly try to be more impressive in front of his friends so that they compliment u and he feels proud about u.
still he doesnt change kick him out of ur life..dont worry everthing will be fine but dont bear him

Well that's nothing new, lots of men want older women, they usually get that out of their system before they get married though.
