We have an Goodman Heat/Air conditiong unit. It buzzes as if it is starting to run and then it quits.
Its an older model and can't seem to find anything about this unit on the internet Model No. is CPKE27-1B Seriel No. 9509108416.

Your compressor is locked up. If the fan and the compressor are not running, it could be a bad capacitor. Call the repair man.

You have a bad contact switch. It shouldn't BUZZ. This means that the contacts are worn out.

A bad wiring "fix it job" can be the problem too, meaning that it is not wire properly.

A circuit board could also be malfunctioning.

Finally, the NUMBER ONE cause for this problem. You have 2 thermostats connected to the contacts. You should only have one connected. This will weaken the magnetics in the contacts.

either fan motor is bad or compresser has gone out either way yuo'll need a a/c repair co. out to look at it
