it's just a time that the company decided on that looks average, and doesn't send any bad subliminal messages. It looks good. it can't be on any right angles and it can't be going downward because that would be a negative thing. I remember asking this when I worked somewhere I had to have every clock in the store on 10:10 as well or I would get points off on a mystery shop. Lucky most manufacturers actually start them there now.

i don't know!! i've noticed too and it's so strange. why would they choose 10:10 asan international add time?sorry for not answering..
