I been to the secret recipe located in KLCC yesterday. I found a metal piece in the spagetti that i order. I have told the waiter about this. They just change the food for me. But the cook r not happy with it and scold the waiter for bringing the food back. Not only that, i also being overcharge for the drinks which is higher than what it is stated in the menu. I have inform the waiter about the difference but he say it's the manager who charge for it.
I told them they should change the menu price but they ignore me. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I would've talked to the manager as the metal is a safety issue and could've hurt you or somebody else (the metal could've been in other spaghetti dishes ordered) and would've pointed out that you were overcharged for your drinks and requested to be charged the menu price.

The restaurant where I work, if this happened to you (the food having object in food.) Your entire check would be comp'ed (free) My manager would ungraciously apologize. We do everything we can to not let things like this happen. Things do.
About the price difference. The other day my manager put in the computer .27(cents) for the price of the $27 dinner. I caught it before I gave out the check, this is pretty obvious. Mistakes do happen. I'm sure the price difference was not this great and was probably am unknowing mistake when programming the system.

If I were you in your shoes I would tip the server for their efforts. Both of these errors have little to do with anything the server did to get you served. Computers are good and they can be bad. We have "happy hour" prices in the menu 4:00 to 6:00. When the clock in the computer turns to 6:01, any prices entered are no longer "happy hour." Do you blame the server for this?

1. Be a good consumer. If something is BAD (unsafe). Immediatley, inform someone, so no-one else gets served the BAD food. Most likely an accident. S**t does happen, right?

2. If prices and charges are different, simply, point them out before you pay. Server will immediatley correct bill. Pay for everything you ordered. Reflect on the whole experence, not on one small error which is corrected, in regards to gratutity.

3. Consider giving the restaurant 1 more chance before you slander their name all over town. Humans run restaurants, humans are not perfect even as much as they try.

Have the bill corrected and mention the metal to the waitress. I'd not leave a tip due to the adding error, and I wouldn't return or recommend the place.

you needed to call the manager over at the time of discovery. Not much you can do now. You could contact the manager, and they may give you a free dinner.

I would complain to the manager. If not satisfied, I would contact the Better Business Bureau.

I would complain to the manager...and sue them in court...they are not supposed to do this...if they can offer something to you to make things better...take it...you take the offer (free food or 50% off what you order price is..blah...blah...blah) take it,don't leave it...of they don't offer you anything...complain and sue...thats all you can do.
I would do the same thing.

Politely discuss it with the manager...and, if no joy, write a letter of complaint to the company
