where can i take my friend to try good ol' australian food in Melbourne?

I wasn't aware that there was really any such thing as 'real' Aussie food, beyond maybe bush tucker.

The only thing I can think of that's authentically Australian is a parma and a pot at a local pub.

Just go to a shopping centre and buy up some Kangaroo sausages then give them to your friend :)

If your lucky you might even come accross some crocodile meat.

go into the St. Kilda area or Footscary areas ( if ur daring ), and there should be a number of ' Aussie ' restaurants, and fast food areas.

Anywhere in the CBD. There are little restaurants tucked away in every corner.
