I need ideas as to what my new grandson can call me.
Other than:
Grandma
Grammie
Nana
Grannie
Gram
MeMe
I'm only 42, so I don't feel like any of those.

By the time he starts calling anything, you will no longer be 42, so my advice is whatever he calls you, be a loving grandparent and you won't feel "like any of those", but rewarded for loving an angel that come to bring happiness and joy into your life.

You need to embrace your grandmotherliness! In this generation, there is no stereotype of an old grannie with white hair. Everyone seems to know a grandma who's relatively young! I think Nana or Gran are okay.

We called one grandma Oma (german/dutch) for grandma.and the other "grams"
My kids call my parents by their nicknames (sometimes w/ grandma in front of it and sometimes not) and my hubby's parents grandma & grandpa - this differentiates them.
They also call my grandmas "maw maw" and "nana"

i called my grandma jo her real name is joan i dont know its just kind of what all my other cousins called if you cant really decide he'll just call you grandma oh yeah, and i called my other grandma Meme a great grandma gram and thats about it i hope this helps

Well you can't really make a child call you somethings...Sometiems thye just call you whatever they can say.I always called myne granny but you can tryto get them to call you something like nan-nan . or Granma...your name there...

Well my mom asked my neice to call her Gigi (geegee not jeejee) we thought that was rather cute.
