You DO bathe a Guinea Pig. In fact, they make special shampoo for Guinea Pigs. You can use regular shampoo though, as long as you make sure you get ALL the soap out so it doesn't start itching. Just put about a half inch warm water in the sink, put Mr. Piggy in and wet and sap up, then rinse with a reasonably small strea of warm water fromm the faucet. Give Mr. Piggy a carrot slice or other treat afterwards and wrap him in a towel for about five or ten mins. I do it once a week, thats all he needs, and it feels pretty good later on. I would say do it when you vlean the cage though, so he doesn't just get all dirty again. Have fun, I do, and my pig Cody love baths.

i used to have A LOT of guinea pigs..they start to smell rather foul after a while. I would say it would be nice to bathe them every time you clean out their cage. That should be every few days...once or twice per week. It may sound like a lot, but they start to smell pretty bad kinda quick. They make great pets though.
*oh and be careful because they can multiply like rabbits! make sure you have either only one or you have two of the same sex (preferibly female as males spray and it sends off a terrible odor)*

guinea pigs r pretty clean, and they dont exactly favor baths. if u leave them wet, they could get cold and die...i advise not to give them a bath at all.

When they stink. Clean them and their cage once a week or once every 2 weeks. And dry them really good or they'll get sick and become like frogs.(croak)

Only bathe them if they get extremely dirty, otherwise they clean themselves.
