But this isn't really a question about home security is it? This sounds like a metaphor for the current situation in the middle East.

First, call the police and see if they have a right to be there. Second, get an attorney your house could have been sold for back taxes, nonpayment of mortgage or something really shady - like using your home for collateral on a loan and you not knowing it was done. (Always read contracts) Third, if you leave in a major city and your a senior - go to your senior advocate at your city hall and see what they can do to help.

Do you have a deed or a lease stating that the home is yours? If so, call the police and have the people removed and get a restraining order against them.
If they are also on the deed or lease, they can move in with you..
Of course, this could be a metaphor for the situation in the mideast.

I don't know what country do you live in? In my country we are protected by our constitution against such actions, and I would simply go to the police, and prove that the home belonged to me, and the police would arrest those who kicked me out of my own house.

No one can come and just kick you out, there are laws to protect you so long as you've paid your mortgage or rent. That is a lawsuit just SCREAMING to happen!!
