I want to quit working for a company and want to start doing my own thing (E.g. Start a restaurant, a Training Unit)...I have enough experience in Training and some money. How canI find someone who feels like me and wants to partner for a calculated risk project....but one that could give atleast about a lakh in India or elsewhere.

I quit working for someone else four years ago and I can tell you from my experience that it isn't all roses. There will be difficult times ahead of you, with some problems you never thought you would hande. However, if you persevere, you will have a better and higher quality life than if you were stuck in a dead-end job making somebody else rich.

I also strongly suggest that you prepare a business plan first BEFORE you quit your job. Have your business plan reviewed by successful entrepreneurs and see if their response is positive. Only then should you jump the bandwagon.

Also, with the business plan in hand, you will find it easier to look for a partner who will be able to offer you a complementary set of skills. You should choose a partner who has the necessary skills that you are not particularly strong at.
