I don't like to lecture about politics, but when everyone blames the President for what goes on in this country, they seem to forget about the Senate and the House of Representatives who come up with all the ideas and laws and then vote by majority and also screw each other by attaching other things to bills that will screw one side or the other. The President also has his cabinet members who guide the decisions as well as a Supreme Court who has the final say in many things as well. Bush is a puppet of Washington DC, just the figurehead to blame when all goes to crap. He does not have as much power and what happens in the world on our behalf is not nearly as much his decision as people like to think.

It is correct that the President does not have full control what the strongest country in the world does but he can act on his own to stabilize while waiting for a vote. Keep in mind he just told the navy to move the ships close to Iraq and told the army to fire up the tanks and the Air force to bomb the hell out of them almost two months before there was a vote on the matter.

He can have all your credit cards canceled and mark you as wanted by the police just for the hell of it and he can send out the FBI to shoot you in your home while you are watching TV. The head lines in the papers will read "Man shot wife and turned gun on himself after killing their two children" It was believed to have started because the youngest son would not take his bath. So in his drunken rage he killed everyone.

Don't kid yourself. the President has has powders you just can't understand. And will use them.

Look around you. The world is burning... started wars, gave weapons to others, took sides instead of being ana rbiter or working for peace... the criminal has tooooo much power.

I do agree with the person who said he is controlled though. He is a stooge performing the corporate bidding (to sell weapons, get oil prices up for profit, etc.)
