out of those 3? Reggae (it has an A in it stupid)

Rap consists of idiots cursing every three seconds, it just happens to have a drumbeat. I think the reason they are so mad is because the guy who was going to bring the melody never showed up to the studio. Rap tortures my ears every time I hear it. I would like to every rapper in the known AND unknown universe. Then I would have a huge bonfire and BURN every rap CD, record, Video, DVD, mp3, Cassette, and Book that has ANYTHING to do with Rap.

Country music, dont get me wrong, some of it is ok. However, alot of it is just rednecks playing guitars and talking about how great the USA is, and corn and tractors and how great the USA is. Dont get me wrong, the USA is a pretty sweet place, but you cant make EVERY song in a genre be about that.

So, I pick Reggae. It has a good beat, decent lyrics, and most instrument players can jam to that.

Anything but rap
the closest it ever came to being music was the ripoffs of 60s song hooks
no harmony, no melody, no hope and no inspiration, AND NO ORIGINALITY
It is the music of welfare, illegitimacy, drug addiction, and wallowing in poverty and misery and gimme

Country trainboy765 has a valid point not just on the flag waving though or for that matter country music
The music industry is now run by something like 5 media output firms that see a hit and immediately flood the market with me2s (New kids on the 98'sync boys anyone)

Music is above all the expression of emotions and people even classical music without words began with the emotions of its composers

Reggae at its best is melodic, inspirational and perhaps the best music at conveying emotion of the three

I have given up on listening to almost all music because of the aforementioned clone it to death repetition. when I do I dig through my old cds, cassettes, albums, and yes 8 tracks for things like Bob Seeger, acdc, elvis,Beatle, Mannfred Mann, Johnny Cash, whatever strikes my mood. Good music is stll good even years after the media stops ramming the next hot act down the willing throat of the public

Rap music by far is better of the other two, because it is the type of music you listen to when you want to entertain a girl from the projects or in the hood, particularly Chicago, in the Cabriny Green projects.

All of the above and more. I expose myself to as many different kinds of music I can, from all cultures...and have made many wonderful discoveries. It would be folly to confine yourself to one genre. I couldn't possibly choose one over the other. I don't like all of anything...but some of everything.
