Well, it really depends what kind of crowd it is. What kind of job does your bloke do?
You should go the same way an average woman in that business would go to work, perhaps 10% more styled. Don't overdo it!
Rather too casual than overdressed!!

Be comfortable first and foremost. Choose something that doesnt cling round the middle, in this weather long hippy skirts are a great choice, with a plain smooth top and a feature necklace to draw the eyes to your face. Concentrate on having good hair and nice but not too much make-up, be yourself!

You could wear a simple dress with low heels, or capri pants with a pretty overblouse. Try to hide your worst area (butt, arms, legs?) and show off your best (bust, waistline). Don't worry about looking fat, though. If you are well groomed and smile that's what people will see.

Wear something comfortable. Look in your closet and wear the outfit that you think is the most attractive and suitable for the venue. You are who you are and your boyfriend likes you that way so take a deep breath and say, "I'm not going to change me this minute so I am fine as I am for this minute." People like you for what you are and not what you look like.

Its all about being happy in yourself. Wear something that makes you look taller and thinner. Accentuate your best features. Not knowing your body type I can't tell you exactly what to wear. What Not to Wear on TLC has been a great help to me.

Odds are that they will all be dressed for work still. I'd dress casually. Jeans t-shirt etc. Just pick what fits. You cant enjoy dinner if you feel uncomfortable.

Tailored pants and jacket, if it's hot, a feminine longish skirt with cotton top.
