I read some days back somewhere that when this technology was discovered many years back, the name of the place & the inventor's name work sort of mixed to form a word in some other language that meant bluetooth. Thats why the name blue & not golden or rotten!!!!

White is too bland.
Red sounds like blood.
Black sounds like death.
Green sounds like a bacterial infection.
And yellow sounds like urine.
But, I'll bet if they upgrade it, it'll be GOLDtooth.
