I honestly don't think there will be another Woodstock. I was trapped in the 99 Woodstock. On the last night the masses that took buses there had to wait until morning. There was no water and all the vendors had evacuated. I watched someone get trapped under a trailer as it was being tipped. My friend and I ran to help lift the trailer. Thankfully the person was only caught with his leg. It was a great idea but there is too much violence and commercialism will prevail. I don't think I would go if there ever was another.

Well, as for Woodstock, we cant have the reunion concerts there anymore. Some idiot bought the land it was on, and is going to build houses there. We have had some HUGE festivals, larger than Woodstock now, but none of them could match the Peace and Love that was at woodstock.
But, we can always hope...

probably not, as you probably remember, Woodstock 99 ended a complete disaster! A mockery to the original Woodstock. I was there and by the last day I felt the tension that built up to the riot. We were in the parking lot when all jell broke loose, it was BS anyways they were getting $4 for a bottle of water! It was all about money, nothing about music like the original, that's the way most popular artists seem now to me, almost like they are in it for money and not because they just want to jam.

There might be another event based on Woodstock but there will never be another Woodstock. As we saw with attempts to have another Woodstock in the past few years, everything is to commercial now and I dont think there will ever be an event with the same feeling, on as big a scale, and free.

I did the 94 and 99. Yes it will be tried again. It has taken this long for me to forget all the bs bad about 99. Just now are myself and my friends starting to look back on it fondly. The dvd is a good documentation. If they do it again it will have to be free(cheaper) with corporate sponsors. It will have to be for the love; to make history not profit. I would go but i would be more prepared for the worst possible conditions. Although it needs to happen soon before i get too damn old. Late

No because you can never repeat the original, with Janis,Jimi,Bob Dylan and more, also a few years ago when they tried Woodstock 2 there were fires, rapes, fights. The 60's were all about love so Woodstock was great,in these days I just don;t think it would work

Here in Nebraska we have Comstock Rock(rock music),Godstock(christian music) and Comstock Windmill Festival(country music)and they are all held out in a field by Comstock Nebraska. They are held every summer and everybody takes tents and campers or you can stay in a motel in town and each one lasts 3 or 4 days. It's a great time but there are alot of state patrol officers around to keep everybody in check!

I dont think there will be, and if there is it will suck. There arent enough bands that sound good enough. If a hip hop performer ever went onstage at woodstock I think a lot of people would be very upset. But yes, I would go if they had good acts, and it was cheap enough.

They already had Woodstock II, and it was a sadly futile attempt to relive the past. Make the moment happen; the past is only memories now

All things are possible. the first one was groundbreaking. The second one not so much. The problems stood out more than the get together. A third one would have to be closely monitored to insure the message gets more press and not the fights, drug use,and high alcohol consumption.Be the change. Peace.
