No english word doesn't have any vowels. All words in english have at least one vowel per syllable. Some people may point to words like sky, fly, etc. but in these words, the "y" is acting as a vowel (these words are examples of "and sometimes y", as in "the vowels are a, e, i, o, u and sometimes y").

Most lists of vowels state: "a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y." However, I have never heard the letter y make anything but a vowel sound in any word, not even "you."

Based on this, I believe there are no true words that haven't vowels, but there are a couple onomatopœia words such as "sh" for example (which counts in Scrabble) that do not have vowels.

my. (or like sky, try, rhythm, why, etc) but then it has the letter "y", and some people count that as a vowel. Some SOUNDS have no vowels such as:
hmm
shh
huh?
etc.

But if there WERE an actual, complete english word not containing the letter(s) a,e,i,o,u...
we wouldnt be able to pronounce it!

every word in the english language has a vowel, thats why "y" is only "sometimes" a vowel. as in "my""by" and "try" it substitutes for the other vowel, bieng one itsef.

The longest common word without an A, E, I, O, or U is RHYTHMS, but these additional words appear in W2: SYMPHYSY, NYMPHLY, GYPSYRY, GYPSYFY. The OED2 has TWYNDYLLYNG(S). And WPPWRMWSTE (in the OED) goes nine letters without an A, E, I, O, or U; GLYCYRRHIZIN (a constituent of licorice) goes eight letters without A, E, I, O, or U

And why you want to know? Is this a fun question or what?

There are many words with simply a "Y" - and I don't know any words containing only a "Q" or a "J", other possibilities don't seem to exist.
