that is so sad - there are more women in the US then men - isn't there enough to choose from. Or do you not like women that can stand up for themselves, support themselves and have opinions - you want the meek, subservient woman that is SO desperate to leave her own country she will put up with anything from a man!

I have married a "mail order bride" twice. So it does work in the sense that you can get married. Staying married is a little more dicey, but all marriages are risky because they involve human beings.

Marriage is not something you jump into with someone you don't know! So, I'd have to say it doesn't work, at least not most of the time.
