Ear abscess. They are caused by many things, usually indicating a flaw in our basic cares.

You can try fixing the care issues involved (see the site lited below), but if it does not help in a reasonable time, yuo should seek a vet's help!

I agree with Carl. It is more than likely an abcess. You need to take it to a Herp Vet. Another great resource for turtles is the http://turtleexchange.smfforfree.com Great site/message board to get information on turtles and even some of your other pets.

Is it on the side of the head?
It may be an ear abscess. Take it to a reptile vet.

it might be getting cancer, it might be a tumor or anything dangerous if i were you i would go to the veteran and have it checked ..
