It's called war. And in every war that's ever been fought, there are going to be civilian casualties.

Israel is making every effort to avoid civilian casualties, including warning civilians to flee from expected combat areas. This is in contrast to their opponents, who are directly targeting Israeli civilian centers to maximize civilian casualties.

War is a bad thing. But sometimes necessary, as in the case of a hostile force who won't stop firing rockets into Israeli towns. If Lebanon cannot stop Hezbollah from firing rockets into Israel from Lebanese bases, then Israel is required and allowed to defend itself.

Every way has civilian casualties. So either every war is criminal, and the concept of war crimes is meaningless, or you have to look at the specific intent and the actions taken to increase or reduce civilian casualties. By that standard, Israel is the most non-criminal combatant in the last century.

Israel should not be blamed for this. Hamas & Hezbollah started it by kidnapping the Israeli soldiers. Unfortunately , Israel has the reputation of repaying by 1000 folds.
Anyways 2wrongs don't make 1right. This fight must end & so must the fanaticism.
