Have you read,'The Celestine Prophecy and adventure?

I was lent this book, and told that it would change how I view people. I haven't finished it yet, but could you tell me if it changed your views or you saw it as just a story.Didn't know which catagory to put this question in.

Read it and it certainly did not change the way I view people. To be truthful it annoyed me because I thought it was badly written but there again I'm no literary critic.
