well im a virgo and my fiance is a gemini
we get along just fine.....as a virgo i have to be less critical and analyistic in her general characteristics. Being that she is outgoing and spontaneous.
but i can truthfully tell you, if the virgo can be willing to let loose a little this is a great match..she has open my eyes and life to alot of new experiences i would of never tried without her in my life.

Gemini and Virgo
When Gemini and Virgo come together in a love affair, it's crucial to the survival of the relationship that they take time to learn about one another's approach to life and love -- and remember that both partners' attitudes are worth understanding! Gemini is symbolized by the Twins; they can see both sides of a story, they tend to vacillate between two courses of action and sometimes they can seem as if they have a split personality! This relationship is greatly strengthened when steady Virgo provides one Twin with a steady emotional anchor while allowing the other Twin to flit about at will. Virgo may be a bit too serious and demanding for Gemini, especially if this occurs early in the relationship before Gemini has fully committed. If Virgo just gives it time, things will smooth out.
Virgo and Gemini's approaches to life are seemingly so different that mutual acceptance can be hard to come by -- especially since Virgo tends to be so critical and exacting. Gemini strains against Virgo's ultra-practical stance in the world, and Virgo tires quickly of Gemini's flighty ways. They do have much to teach one another, however. Virgo can help Gemini to be more involved in life and to see the depth of ideas rather than simply the surface. Gemini can help bring fun and excitement into Virgo's life.
Both Signs are ruled by the Planet Mercury (Communication). Gemini represents the masculine aspect of Mercury, Virgo the feminine (Mercury itself is androgynous). Virgo wants a dependable partner and therefore uses the penchant for clear communication toward forming the perfect relationship. Gemini is more intellectually focused than Virgo but does have a gift in relating to others.

yes ,gemini and virgo are very compatible signs generally, geminis are the most compatible sign for virgos, only leaving taurus.but some spheres should be taken care of to flourish the relationship.if the concerned gemini person is too much restless/indisciplined,he must try to be a little more cautious and disciplined, for the sake of virgo.remember, how indisciplined the virgo may seem(or he/she may not seem at all),they r most probably(u may say 99.99%) worshipper of discipline at heart.virgo may not like gemini's over over expenditure sometimes, and the most important aspect is,no complications with the virgos please.geminis have a tendency to hide the truth, with or without reasons,by their clever acting and talking skills, but not this technic with virgos dear.if once a virgo starts to suspect,she/he is not only able to find the true cause, but will also think of various unnecessary explanations which may degrade u more and more.for example if a gemini lied about his past only to hide the various love relations he/she had,the virgo will not only find out the true cause of lie by her excellent power of reasoning, but may also assume that the gemini is a rapist!!!so be clear and be specific with a virgo ,u all gems,as far as virgos are concerned, they must try to adopt a little bit restlessness of their gemini partner, and will have to bear gemini's childish indisciplined behaviour sometimesthe virgo should also check his/her critical nature to an extent, for a happy relationship.,but if the virgo is an overlyyyyyyy critical person ,then there is simply no hope in the relationship astrologically.
however i have seen the most astrological impossibles to be possible, only because of LOVE,and if there is true love between u two,u need not even read this whole page, love will find a way.

Hi - Gemini + Virgo = are not compatible signs. Gemini has difficult relationship with Virgo, Saggitarius and Pisces. However, Gemini has harmonious relationship with Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, Aquarius, Aries and Taurus.
Gemini will also have a turbulent relationship with Scorpio and Capricon....
However, believe me, an faults can be rectified if the hearts compliment and you are willing to give something for something.
Cheer...

Gemini with Virgo
An intelligent partner is likely to be far more appealing to either of you than a glamorous but boring one. And you have certainly found that intelligence in each other.
Lively curiosity about a whole range of subjects and a desire to constantly expand your understanding could unite you in an exciting, endlessly stimulating relationship. You have met your intellectual match in each other, and that is what both of you most want.
Yet sometimes you can irritate each other, because your minds, although equal in flexibility and vitality, often function on quite different levels. Airy Gemini loves information for its own sake, and is not necessarily orderly in collecting facts or articulating them. Earthy Virgo wants useful information which can be applied in some way to help create a better, more orderly life.
Gemini can hop from one subject to another and become bored quickly. Virgo likes to complete projects and have everything in its place. Try not to annoy each other with your different conversational styles. And when you are with others, don't pick at each other. Enjoy your differences, learning from each other rather than arguing and criticising.

Virgo will amaze you with his ability to organize his life, and yours! He'll also point out necessary practical considerations to carry creative ideas from your imagination into reality. Like you, he has Mercury as the ruler of his sign, so he can keep up with your mental gymnastics, and you two will develop a huge repertoire of in-jokes. He'll also enjoy being introduced to your constantly changing circle of friends. He'll find your desire to be out and about at all times to be "cute", but don't expect him to be constantly at your side. Virgo needs time alone and at home, so he can prepare for life's little rituals, duties and obligations. If you respect this about him, he'll love you all the more. You and your Virgo boy will learn how to balance your individual lives somewhere between "all work" and "all play", as you encourage each another to use all your talents.

Any sign can be with any other sign! It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.
Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.
The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.
Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.

The two of you are both intellectual creatures, more rational than emotional, and you have a good mental rapport. You both love to talk and you appreciate one another's wit. Virgo, however, has a more practical, down-to-earth turn of mind, while Gemini just enjoys playing with ideas, without needing a purpose or practical application for them. Gemini is also more of a risk-taker and will gladly do something once "just for the experience" while Virgo is more careful, cautious and discriminating. For the most part, however, you understand each other well, and can be quite compatible.
Both of you are very active and inclined to try to do too many things at once, scattering your forces and depleting yourselves through overwork or compulsive busy-ness. Gemini is mentally restless and needs the stimulation of new ideas, intellectual challenges, and a variety of people to interact with. Gemini is something of a social butterfly also. Virgo is more practical, down-to-earth, and conscientious. Modest and self-critical, Virgo is a hardworking perfectionist with a talent for working with details and organizing practical affairs. Also, Virgo is fastidious and particular about food and nutrition, health and hygiene, and having everything in its proper place, which can be difficult for Gemini to live with at times. Virgo is more disciplined than Gemini and more concerned with self-improvement.
Gemini is witty, humorous, and plays more easily than Virgo does. You both enjoy word games, or games that hone and test your knowledge or intellectual skill.
Both of you are deeply drawn to understand the mysterious workings of the universe, and you will probe into territory that others may feel is better left forgotten or out of sight. Virgo can become intensely preoccupied and obsessed with such things, while for Gemini, it is more a matter of satisfying curiosity.
Both of you, too, tend to form very strong opinions, but Virgo fixates on these ideas and can become coercive and manipulative in order to get others to believe the same way. Gemini could help Virgo be less fanatical, extreme, and one-sided in Virgo's points of view.
Your relationship is exciting, unpredictable, and stimulating. However, it tends to be explosive too, and there is the strong possibility that you will come together suddenly and unexpectedly, and will break up just as suddenly. If either of you is looking for a very stable, quiet, traditional, uneventful marriage with security, commitment, dependability, and predictability, then this is not the relationship for you! Together you will explore new possibilities and interests and break away from traditional, long-held beliefs and assumptions. Your sexual life, like other aspects of your lives, is exciting but not predictable and likely to vary from ecstatic to unsatisfying. You must be willing to be flexible and adaptable in all areas of life. Be wary, also, of letting your love for freedom and independence become a euphemism for being neglectful and inconsiderate of each other.
With sexual expression, you are both direct and forceful and you both put a lot of energy into what you say and do. You can both express your love with great conviction. Multiple orgasms can be achieved, sex comes quite naturally to the both of you. Experimentation in sex will certainly elevate any inhibition you may initially have. The farther-out variations the better. Oils, videos, and sex toys may appeal to you both. Intimate touching is important to both of you.
Without a doubt, the two of you rouse strong energies within one another, and you will have to learn how to manage conflict, passion, and anger in a creative way. When you are together, you both tend to become competitive, overly eager, rambunctious, zealous. You are not destined to have a peaceful, placid coexistence! However, you can initiate new projects and get lots of work done together, if your drives are harnessed and channelled into creative enterprises. Winning at work and competition, developing a warrior spirit, encouraging one another to be bolder and more courageous - these are the positives you will discover and create together if you can diffuse the more aggressive, abrasive energies you bring out in each other.
