I believe there are indeed turning points in life. They are based on the decisions we make. Make bad decisions and bad things happen, but it doesn't mean that things have to stay bad. While some decisions can be reversed, others must stand. It does not mean that you cannot correct mistakes, only that they cannot always be erased. What you must remember though is that no matter what decisions you make, they all lead you to being a particular type of person. So while I believe that you can always change your life for the better, it is not a good thing to dwell on past mistakes. Always look ahead to the future with a positive attitude. Sometimes turning points occur because of circumstances, though these are not always good, it is still imperative to find the positive. With a positive outlook you will find that most situations resolve themselves in a favorable manner.
My turning point in life was when I decided that I would no longer be a slave to addiction. At the current time I have everything I have ever wanted out of life. A good job, a home, and a wonderful wife who I love very much. The only thing I can say about my old life is that if I had continued to pursue it I would probably be dead now.

There are MANY turning points in our lives. Each decesion we make is a turning point. If you decide to takek this job over that one, date this person instead of that one, eat at this restuarant instead of that one. Each choice leads to a different result. There are MAJOR turning points also when your brain tells you "this is not right" and you decide it must change. That can be about yourself, or your situation. We don't always make the right choice, and reflect back and think perhaps if we would have done the other thing, then our life would be different. Even no choice is a choice. Also this question can fall into almost any category.

Yes go straight and then right . You are on right track and that is your turning point.
It comes in every one's life , sooner or later.
Some times it is challenging and some times it comes without knocking your door.
there is an Universal theory called " This too shall pass "
so after rainy days it comes happy days and it called the turning point in once life.

My life had a turning point when I was twenty seven years old.
I realized that my life was my own, and it was what I had made it. It was the day I took responsibility for being where I was in my life, instead of blaming other people. It was sorrowful and liberating at the same time.

I believe yes because it happened to me. I was stuck in several addictions and was miserable. I got so sick of my life and went into a rehab where I learned alot about me, about the addictions, and about God. I've been a new person ever since and don't struggle with the addictions any more. My whole mindset has changed, I have new motivations and goals in life, and my entire lifestyle is completely different.

I've had several turning points, but the most recent one was December 16, 2005, at about 3:00 a.m., when I was in the bathroom and heard a pop and a thud. Suddenly I knew that Steve was not just talking about suicide, he had gotten out his gun and done it. The pop was his gun going off, and the thud was his body falling to the floor. Believe me, there's no turning point to compare to that.

the turning point in my life was having children. Before that I was a party animal! Stayed up all night, drank like a fish, danced till I dropped, now I pray for 5 hours of straight sleep and I am in bed by 9PM. I think about where I was before kids in my life and where I am now - COMPLETELY different life!

Yes, there is a good book out called the "Tipping Point", Sometimes you just have to change one or two things in your life and that will take you to the tipping point or turning point, where everything will start going your way and then you can make it to self actualization. (Maslow's pyramid) Good Luck finding yours....
