If I had 19 million dollars...I would definitely NOT buy this house. I can find something to suit me for 1/2 million on the waterfront. Of course.not Florida.. but here in Canada in the natural wonder that it is. That place could house alot of people, maybe some who have NOTHING. I guess it would need to house a whole lot of servants and cleaners and maintenance people. Give them a roof over their heads plus a salary. So I suppose its an industry in itself. I have a house for sale in Florida. Its a real nice 2 bdrm. house on an acre of trees with great screened in pool. Only $220,000....that makes more sense.

Nice to look at.. but to live in and enjoy it, no way! Usually the people who enjoy most this house are the people who care & maintain it.. You rarely see the owner while you go on the intracoastal and see these mansions.

My other thought is STORM SURGE. If you're not familliar with this go to NOLA.COM, and look at Katrina photos.
