It is a scam. Never ceases to amaze me how people can think an unsolicited email saying they have won millions can be in any way legitimate. They are trying to get personal bank account information which will be used to clean out the account. The money they deduct will come from her checking account. There is no prize money at all.

And if you have won something, why should you have to pay a processing fee? Sometimes there is a huge fee for freight and insurance also. But the big question is how can you win something you never entered in the first place??? Duh. DUH DUH DUH.

The best thing for her to do is to delete that email and not to reply to it. After you have seen a few dozen of these things they become obvious, but until then she could lose her shirt.
