The YHA has a number of hostels in London. Otherwise, the doorstep of Madame Tussauds!

London is expensive ! Why not consider Manchester or Leeds it's much cheaper and after a few weeks you could go to London. You need to be sponsered by someone who is willing to help ?

Regent Hotel is dirt cheap and on picalilly Circus, right near the neon sign!

There are nice hotels in and around Baker Street, it is close to the centre - Oxford Street. By 5 minutes... Look it up...
