Use explorer to open c drive. Then right click and select new folder. Or if you prefer command prompt, then use "mkdir foldername"

If you are not able to create one, then probably you are not an administrator. C drive by default has write access given only to local administrator. Either you can log in as administrator or else ask your admin, to provide you with the rights to create folders there.

Right click in the window of your C drive, select New, then Folder, give the folder a name. There you have it. Good luck!

ok let me tell u some easyest way to create a new folder with the user defined name (which is ur wish)

ok now click on start button and go to run and type "cmd" in open box
now u r in dos prompt now type as follows

cd \
c: (if u dont see c:\>)
md

u have ur new folder with what ever name u have selected

On your desktop, double click the "My Computer" icon and in the opening window double the "C:" (C drive).
now you are in the C drive, right click in the blank area of "My Computer" window and select New-> Folder from the appearing menu,

open my computer from start menu
double click c:
right mouse click in window but not on an existing folder -->new--->folder

easy as that
