Dont worry if it's only yahoo pages that dont load up, I'm having problems with all of yahoo's services except the answers site.
No need to run anti-virus etc,, Its yahoo's problem, not yours so dont panic,I've ran all sorts of programs and nothing makes a difference yet ebay etc loads up no problem.

Just been on that gadget detective site and you have to be a whizz kid to know how to navigate round the site let alone post your problem.

Is this one site that does this regularly? If it is just one site, it is a problem with that site. If it can be any site, it is a problem with your network connection.

If its the second, are you using broadband (Cable or DSL) or dial-up?

Could be lots of things.
Spyware problems, robbing your internet connection and memory, too many programs starting up when you start your computer, could be your security settings on your browser are improperly set, etc.

If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, I recommend you go to Windows Update to have your system scanned and updates installed if needed.

If there are not any updates, you may need to just re-install Internet Explorer.

Good luck. :-)
