Although this is a practise that I have heard of, I would question its wisdom. Due to the similarity between moths and butterflies, and bear in mind that certain species mimic each other's appearance, it is sometimes difficult to tell which species you are eating!
My concerns stem from the fact that although there are over 142,000 species of moths recorded, plus somewhat less of butterflies, there is a small proportion which are poisonous.
Poisonous, yes to the extent that can be fatal, or in the least produce a serious somatic reaction. Examples of such moths and butterflies are:
Daniid moths, eg. "Idea stolli logani", all of which are poisonous;
Zebra Longwing "Heliconius" which contains cyanide;
Emperor Moth which contains a powerful anti-coagulant that causes extensive bleeding and death;
Scarlet-bodied Wasp Moth (from Florida) which contains a strong alkaloid poison (pyrrolizidine) from feeding on the dog-fennel plant;
Monarch Butterfly "Danaus plexippus";
"Zygaena trifolii" which contains cyanide;
Tiger Moth, "Arctia villica";
"Phragmatobia fuliginosa";
Burnet Moth, "Zygaena filipendae" which contains cyanide;
The list goes on ...
But don't let me put you off enjoying a tasty snack, just be aware that is is wise to know what you are eating.

Are you a spider, because if you're not, there is no reason to eat a moth, honey. Do you think that you eat moths because you eat food manufactured in buildings where there are moths? Or have you just been smokin that stuff this morning? Don't eat moths, honey, please. Okay? Okay.

Usually, that is too long for me. I consider it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and others can't.
