He is very controlling very verbal abuses, he has all his toys guns bowsboatcamper does not buy for house or help fix any thing I am the handyman in house and yard I have a lot of health problems I owned home when we got married he still lets his son sponge off him I have no say on going fishing or hunting with him.he has to see if his son want to go first or if his son want to use the boat first he also has only his debits he looks for . he paids out on his son not my bills..if i say i want him to pay something for me he curses me. i am on disability..i buy my clothes.pay for my vehicle insurance and any personal necessaries...he try to issolate me from my family will not socialize with my family..

umm start documenting every thing get a lawyer and show him that you don't need his sorry *** he can go live with his son. The house is yours so call the cops when he is gone and put his stuff on the curb and let his son come and get it for him. This is 2006 why do women still put up with this crap. you have the internet so you aren't that isolated also join an abused spouse group and talk to disability services about helping you that is what they are there for. Take pictures and get appraisels on all his toys you can do this online so he can't later tell the judge boat what boat. Honey there are worse things than being alone and your looking at his ugly mug across the kitchen table everymorning. Life is too short to be miserable. Good Luck

The isolating of you from your family support group is
the first line of gaining control of YOU, Girl!!!
(My first husband did this and I got rid of him faster than
a flea bath in July!!)
Start making your way quietly on your own, he sounds like a most selfish person, as if you don't count, and that is not the way marriage is supposed to be--if he is going to sponge on your disability--he can take his own pennies and go live with his son!
Or live in his fishing boat!
You deserve so much more--I would not write this had I not just extricated myself from 23 years of a dead end relationship.
And at my age, not in great health, and NOT on disability, with no job, I have still managed to keep my nose above the water line.
NOT having the pressure of that dead-end-dragging relationship has been a relief.
With the support of your friends and family, it can be done.
You only have one life, why be miserable??

What a great deal. 18yrs!!!!!!!!!
Last woman I had like you lasted 6mths then I came home to all sorts of court orders and that is the end of my perfect world.
She just went on net and in no time she had someone else.
That was 3yrs ago and I have been looking for someone like you since then.
I wont be bringing children, dont have a boat a gun, toys or a camper, but I can bang a nail in if I feel like it.

What are you waiting for ....get out and take some time away from him. Go and get counseling to help you gain self respect. Work on you. You can not change him but maybe when he sees that he can not steal your joy he will see what he has been doing.
If it doesnt improve you need to move on without him.
