Click on START, then on ALL PROGRAMS, then ACCESSORIES, then ENTERTAINMENT, then open the SOUND RECORDER and uncheck the echo button in the settings under effects.

change the sound style... or format.. whatever it is called... do you have it set for "surround sound"?

I think that on my computer I need to run a specific program to change the sound style of my computer... yes... Multi Channel Sound Manager... not sure if you have that same thing.. but you may have something similar... Mine lets me set the sound Environment anywhere from Forest to Padded Cell.. hmmm.. think they are trying to tell me something?
